Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a way to catch and prosecute the criminal home burglar/home invasion intruder when that person violates the boundaries of your home?  Well there is and within the next few months this product may be available in the US.  It is a unique security product that can be enhanced by using a DNA spray to protect against home invasions or home burglary crimes.

If you are concerned about protecting your home and family, first install a home security system.  This is the first step in your defensive strategy.  However, don’t stop there.  If you have read any of my articles, you know I don’t recommend relying solely upon a security system for your total home protection.

Granted, a security system is designed to give you and the intruder an ALERT WARNING.  That’s an extremely loud alarm that lets the homeowner know there has been a breach or an intrusion into the home and immediate safety action must take place.  For the intruder, he has a choice of immediately leaving the premises to avoid being detected or he can continue to quickly carry out his dirty deeds knowing he has several minutes before the police arrive.  Remember most intruders DO NOT WANT TO BE CAUGHT so they will typically leave when a loud alarm is activated. 

A home security system is designed to protect all entry doors and vulnerable windows as well as providing a central or interior trap using motion detectors.  By building layers of protection around and throughout your home, you make it extremely difficult for an intruder to get in without being detected. 

Even with a quality security system and a high level of protection - an intruder may still be able to kick the front door open due to the forceful nature of the kick and potential weakness of the door.  Once kicked in the alarm will sound off but the intruder is now in your home.  The objective is to STOP the intruder at the door making entry virtually impossible without a tremendous amount of effort.  (Most intruders are lazy and wll not take the time/effort to break in when there are so many other homes without a security system).

This new product is going to be especially beneficial to individuals who may not be able to have a security system (if they live in an apartment complex), are intimidated or afraid of technology, or they just may not be able to afford or want a security system.  Here are a few unique aspects of the new security product.

The unique aspects of this new home invasion device are twofold:

1.  The product is made of high quality solid steel and prevents the door from opening no more than 3-4 inches.  If the door is forced beyond that point, a 138 db screeching alarm will sound.

2.  When the unit is setup with the DNA component and a home invasion occurs through the front door, the intruder will be sprayed with the DNA.   If the suspect is caught and found to be marked with the DNA, a national DNA database will be able to identify the specific address to which the DNA belongs.  This places the indvidual at the scene of the crime.  I call that BUSTED!  They say DNA doesn’t lie! 

Let’s reiterate how this overall security system will work.  You have the perimeter security system protection on all doors, vulnerable windows, and interior motion detectors.  The new home invasion device is placed on the front door to provide added strength and protection in case the door is kicked or forced opened.  What the intruder may not realize is once the screeching 138 db alarm sounds off a DNA spray hits the intruder with a marker that will place him at the center of the crime if he is caught.
